Founded in 1966, Camping Wigwam in Upton, began its operations during Expo 67 with 35 sites. Over the years, the campsite has grown and expanded by some 150 other sites. Since the acquisition of the new owners in 2008, the campsite has been modernized to meet the new requirements of campers. In addition to a fleet of modular homes, the campsite now has more than 270 sites with services, 30% of which are reserved for travelers, plus the rental of chalets and trailers. A restaurant and a convenience store with dairy bar in the summer season serve the clientele, which is most appreciated by campers and visitors.
