Amid the pandemic, many people have turned to the great outdoors and chose camping and RVing as a way to escape, and there are no signs of waning.
As per a report from the Red Deer Advocate, the Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association has reported that camping has become a habit for many Canadians, with 33% of the population reporting they have been camping throughout their lives.
With spring nearly in sight and Alberta Parks now open for reservations, the excitement for the upcoming Red Deer RV Show is higher than ever.
Returning to Red Deer this week for the first time in two years, the Biggest Little RV Show on Earth is set to run today, Thursday to Sunday, February 23-26, at Westerner Park.
Organizers are calling it one of the biggest events for a show and sale in central Alberta and a perfect place to start planning summer adventures.
The Red Deer RV show will feature seven dealers selling various lines and types of RVs, including trailers, fifth wheels, and motor homes, and the tools and gadgets needed. In addition to RVs, vendor booths will be available, offering all things camping-related and information about RV travel, outdoor activities, and more.
Whether area residents are looking for their first RV, considering an upgrade, or are simply curious about the RVing lifestyle, the Red Deer RV show is the perfect opportunity to see what’s on offer. It’s not just about RVs but also about everything related to camping and outdoor activities, making it a one-stop shop for outdoor enthusiasts.
The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association’s survey also revealed that hiking is the favorite outdoor activity among RV campers, followed by fishing, canoeing, sightseeing, biking, and bird-watching.
The RV show is also an excellent opportunity for people new to the RVing lifestyle to learn more about it. Many first-time RVers find the experience intimidating and overwhelming, but the Red Deer RV Show provides a friendly and supportive environment for people to learn and ask questions.
