Police Searching For Missing Man Last Seen At Ontario Campground

The police of Chatham-Kent in Ontario is in search of a missing man from Tecumseh, a report said.

Provincial police were notified of a missing person at about 11.40 a.m. on Monday. The missing person was named Matthew Somogyvary, 40, from Tecumseh.

Somogyvary was reported to have been last seen at about eight a.m. early Monday getting into a red kayak at the Waterway Campground near Ontario’s Mitchell’s Bay municipality.

Police are concerned about his safety.

The man is said to be  6’1″ tall, with a medium build. He has darker brown locks, a long beard, and piercings in the left ear. It is believed that he was wearing a green shirt, a toque, and glasses, and is believed to be in the red kayak.
