The recreational vehicle (RV) dumping sites in the Valley and Chelmsford areas of Ontario’s Sudsbury city have been closed for the past two years.
According to a report, they were shut down because of safety and operational security concerns.
The city is now looking at the possibility of closing both stations for good and leaving just the dumping site at the Kelly Lake Waste Water Treatment Plant open for RVers.
A vote on this issue is scheduled for next week’s city council meeting.
