Golden Ears Campground Reopen

Campers can now access North Beach Campground (British Columbia, Canada) as Alouette Parks finish the repair of the Gold Creek bridge ahead of schedule.

In a recent Modern Campground report, the Golden Ears Park North Beach Campground announced closure as the Gold Creek bridge suffered some structural damage. The bridge damage is a result of a motor vehicle collision.

Last weekend, the park allowed site access on a first-come, first-served basis.

As of Monday, August 29, reservations for North Beach Campground are available.

Anyone who wants to use the Gold Creek parking area will be allowed to book day-use passes right away.

North Beach Campground will remain accessible for camping until the end of the season on September 18.

According to Alouette Park, the park features three campgrounds, canoe rentals, a boat launch, backcountry camping areas, hundreds of kilometers of hiking trails, and many other opportunities for visitors.
