Funding Opportunities Await Tourism Businesses, Other SMEs to Boost Digital Presence

The Government of Canada has recently revealed its Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP), an opportunity for eligible small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including tourism businesses, to access grants, expert digital advice, and 0% interest loans to help boost e-commerce presence.

According to Tourism HR Canada’s website, the initiative will help digitize businesses and will also close the digitization gap between Canadian businesses and their global competitors.

The program will be conveyed by means of two streams: CDAP Stream 1 will help SMEs take advantage of e-commerce opportunities, while Stream 2 will help organizations create and execute digital adoption plans and leverage youth placements to help apply new digital tools.
