CCRVC Makes Sponsorship Opportunities Available for Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo

The virtual Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo is happening next month, and the Canadian Camping & RV Council (CCRVC) is ready to partner with industry suppliers that want to sponsor the upcoming event and connect with campground owners and professionals in Canada.

With the shift to focusing on providing greater learning opportunities for attendees, the Canadian association is inviting sponsors to support the third annual Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference, occurring virtually on February 15 and 16.

“Their sponsorship contributions will directly support the delivery of quality training and educational content that will help the outdoor hospitality industry continue to flourish, grow, and deliver world-class experiences to guests by keeping operators and their staff informed, insightful, and forward-thinking,” CCRVC Member Services Coordinator Cara Csizmadia told Modern Campground.

Csizmadia said in an email interview that this goal is meant to help members of the industry, as CCRVC helps operators provide enjoyable and memorable places for millions of campers while maximizing business efficiency, profitability, ingenuity, and longevity for individual businesses and thus the industry as a whole.

The event allows sponsors to showcase their products and services, take part in live sponsored sessions and roundtable discussion workshops, and request meetings with park owners.

Industry suppliers interested in directly supporting the event can choose from four sponsorship categories, including Platinum Sponsorship, Gold Sponsorship, Silver Sponsorship, and Bronze Sponsorship.

According to CCRVC, the platinum sponsor has the opportunity to support high-quality industry education content.

Apart from obtaining the platinum tier in the sponsor directory, the sponsor under this category can have one sponsored workshop during the show, three session sponsorships, three mentions on social media in 2023, three sponsored blog posts at ccrvc.ca in 2023, and have up to four employees attend the full show.

The platinum sponsor can also teach two classes/sessions, have a link to an external meeting, directly pitch products and services during live sponsor “ad breaks” during sponsored sessions, have a one-year CCRVC membership (with inclusion in member directories), have some of the files available to attendees, and more.

Gold sponsors, meanwhile, can have two session sponsorships, two mentions on social media in 2023, two sponsored blog posts at ccrvc.ca this year, gold tier in the sponsor directory, have up to three employees attend the full show, have some of the files available to attendees, and more.

Vendors that want to generate customer leads with the virtual event can opt for the silver sponsorship, where they can have one session sponsorship, some of the files available to attendees, one social media mention in 2023, one sponsored blog post at ccrvc.ca in 2023, have up to two employees attend the full show, and more.

Those that choose the bronze sponsorship are entitled to basic event exposure for their company with perks like having a logo included on the main event sponsor listing in the bronze tier section, a logo included in sponsorships listing in the same section in emails and communications, a social post, having one file available to attendees, full event access to up to two employees, and more.

“In its third consecutive year, this event strives to deliver important industry content and valuable education opportunities for operators, staff, and those new to or considering entering the outdoor hospitality sector,” Csizmadia told Modern Campground.

Per the association’s member services coordinator, while there are some drawbacks to virtual events, there are also things to look forward to.

“All session content will be recorded and made available to CCRVC members and their teams in our Virtual Training Library indefinitely, providing prolonged exposure to sponsors long after the live event has been completed,” she said.

“In addition, digital communications about the event, both before and after, will showcase sponsors, providing exposure to industry participants for many weeks, as opposed to just during the live two-day event,” the member services coordinator added.

CCRVC’s third annual conference was produced in partnership with Unity Event Solutions. The event is an opportunity for campground owners and industry professionals across Canada to come together to share valuable education and networking opportunities.

Shane Devenish, executive director of CCRVC, in a press release said that the conference will offer attendees “new and exciting tools to help them continue to offer premium camping experiences, enhance operations procedures, and maintain the successes our industry has seen in recent years.”

The conference will feature educational sessions, interactive workshops, group discussions, and keynote speakers, as well as sponsors from across Canada and North America.

For 2024, CCRVC is considering hosting an in-person full conference and trade show. This decision follows feedback from campground owners, who have encouraged the organization to prioritize the education content being delivered at the virtual event, given the challenges of effectively hosting a trade show online.

Campground owners and industry professionals who wish to attend the conference can register on the event website at https://cohce.ca/ or contact Cara Csizmadia at [email protected]
