Annual Glow Paddle Event Lights Up The Souris River

On Aug. 29, the annual Glow Paddle event lit up the Souris River in Saskatchewan, Canada.

This year’s event saw the participation of 63-four paddlers as well 52 watercraft, a report said.

Participants decorated their boats to make them visible at night before heading out on the Souris River. Participants then set out on the water from the Woodlawn Regional Park’s Picnic Area.

A line was formed to launch boats into river. Because of its size, the group was spread out more on the water. People could choose when they wanted to go back.

The Hidden Valley Campground was reached by about half of the group.
