DriveBC reports that Highway 93 in Alberta is now open with one-lane alternate traffic after an accident temporarily closed the road.
A seven-week shutdown for the Trans-Canada Highway east of Golden and the consequent detour from Highway 93 towards Highway 95 was just beginning when the accident caused the detour to close, a report said.
DriveBC informs that Highway 93 through Kootenay National Park (KNP) was closed earlier in both directions because of a vehicular collision between Marble Canyon Campground and Highway 93 (four km south of British Columbia and Alberta Border).
The road has been reopened, and delays are expected.
